Arnie Fertig has seen the hiring process first hand through his experience in HR, owning his own boutique recruiting company, and working with hundreds of job hunters on a one-to-one basis to advance their careers.

In addition to writing for Job-Hunt.org, he publishes weekly on the “On Careers” Blog at US News & World Report.

Arnie was an early adaptor of LinkedIn, and his profile is in the top 1% of viewed at that site.He is passionate about helping people learn the nuts and bolts of job hunting in order to transform frantic “I’ll apply to anything” searches into focused hunts for “good fit” opportunities.

Arnie is an active member of the International Association of Career Professionals-NE, Career Counselors Consortium Northeast, and Career Directors International.

He earned the Masters of Public Administration degree (MPA) from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, a Masters in Hebrew Letters from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, and rabbinic ordination from the same school. He was an awarded the Doctor of Divinity degree, honoris causa, in recognition of 25 years of distinguished service to the North American Jewish Community.
