Wendy has been a career coach/advisor and resume writer for more than 12 years. Her passion is teaching, both in group settings and one-on-one, and she loves facilitating those “aha” moments when people discover information that is meaningful and helpful to them.

One of her own “aha” moments came when she realized the need for job search advice that speaks to people who are introverted or shy or just plain modest about promoting themselves. Wendy encourages people to celebrate their introverted or more reserved nature. She believes people can capitalize on their unique strengths to succeed in the job search process using proven strategies that have helped others who are shy or introverted.

Wendy’s academic background includes a Certificate of Advanced Study from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education, a Master’s in Education from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rochester. She has earned industry certifications in coaching, resume writing and interviewing. She is also qualified to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® assessment.

Samples of Wendy’s work and career advice appear in over 20 books and publications, and she has been invited to speak at professional associations and organizations on various career and job search topics. Wendy has owned her business for over 12 years. She has been an introvert her whole life. Contact Wendy at wendy@gentlejobsearch.com.
